2 NIGHTS ONLY
FREE Outdoor Cinema Movies
evenings at 2003 Boulder Creek Festival

Saturday, May 24th Sunday,
May 25th
Details:
The
Boulder Outdoor Cinema is starting a week early this year to include
two FREE movies during the Boulder Creek Festival (May 24th and
25th). Not only will we be at the Creek Festival, those evenings
we'll move the Outdoor Cinema operation across the street to Boulder
High School's grassy athletic field directly off 13th street and
Arapahoe.
Located:
Boulder High School is located at 1604 Arapahoe just off Broadway
in downtown Boulder. (See Aerial
View and Street Map)
Time:
Movie starts by 9:00 PM. Probably some surprise short flicks
before the movie. Field opens at 5:00 PM. Get a good section for
the gang.
Seating:
We recommend low back chairs, couches, bean bags and blankets. Seating
is general admission but you may be directed towards the rear of
the crowd if you bring high-backed chairs. Our front half of the
venue is reserved for low back chairs and blankets.
Cost:
This is a free event. We only ask that you bring a non perishable
food item that will support our local Community
Food Share
Parking:
During the Boulder Creek Festival weekend (130,000+ claimed
attendance) it's everyone for themselves. Actually, go to the City
of Boulder website for parking structure and parking accommodations.
Weather:
We will show a movie in a light rain. Only if it begins to lightning
will we stop the show. It's a free show and we're equipped to run
in the rain. Naturally it would be better if it was a star filled
sky. Check
weather forecast here.
Food and Beverage:
We have traditional theater concessions on site which includes
soda, assorted candy and lots of popcorn! A portion of this show's
proceeds will support the Boulder High School.
